Ceol agus aisteoireacht iontach a bhí againn ó scolaire  i Meánscoil an Chroí Naofa, Cloc  na Coillte ar 20 Samhan.  Chuaigh rang 2 agus 3 le Múinteor Keith agus Bríd go dtí Matilda . Bhain gach duine an taitneamh as. Go raibh maith agat do gach duine ag Meánscoil an Chroí Naofa a chur fáilte mhór romhainn

We were treated to wonderful acting and singing on the 20th November in Sacred Heart Secondary School. Second and Third Class went with Bríd and Keith to see Matilda. Everyone enjoyed the day. Thanks to everyone at Sacred Heart who gave us a great welcome.

11/11/2024 Bhí lá iontach againn ar scoil le James Lowry ó Crann.  Chuireamar crainn sa scoil agus san fhorais.  Go raibh maith agat James.

We had a great day in school with James Lowry from Crann.  We planted trees in school and in the forest.  Thank you James.

19/11/2024 Bere Island Arts Festival

Chuaigh Múinteoir Jenny, Múinteoir Bríd, Elea, Leon agus a  dtuismitheoir Carina go dti Oileán Bheara chun ceiliuireadh a dhéanamh ar My Townland. My Story. Leabhar ina bhfuil scéalta Elea agus Leon faoin a saol ar Oileán Chléire. Bhí  am iontach ag na páistí ó na seacht  in-oileán eile in Iarthar Chorcaí. I dteanta chéile le Bere Island Arts Festival a reachtáladh é seo. Buíochas de Mary O Sullivan, Oileán Bheara a d’eagraigh an leabhar agus an ócáid chomh maith le Peter Prendergast  ó  Comharle Contae Chorcaí a thug tacaíocht don tionscadál.

Jenny, Bríd, Elea, Leon and their mother Carina went to Bere Island to celebrate the book ‘My Townland, My Story’ in which Elea and Leon wrote about  their life on Cape. The children from all seven Islands in West Cork had a great time together.  This was run in conjunction with the Bere Island Arts Festival.  Thanks to Mary O Sullivan, Bere Island who organised the book and the event as well as Peter Prendergast from Cork County Council who supported the project.
